My name is Tricia McClarty and my son, Carson, has been attending the Kenny Rogers Center for over a year now. Carson has made drastic improvements since receiving services from the center. Carson receives physical, occupational, and speech therapy services at the center each week.
To give a little history of the struggles we have faced with our first born son and only child to date I will start at the beginning. Carson weighed in at a whopping three pounds fifteen ounces when he was born eight weeks prematurely on February 22, 2006. He spent the first seventeen days of his life in the NICU at Southeast hospital. Not exactly the way my husband and I planned or thought things would turn out during our uncomplicated pregnancy. My water broke at four am February 20th and two days later Carson was here.
The struggles did not begin in the NICU though. We were so excited to bring our son home March 11th, 2006 only to return to Southeast hospital a month later on Carson's original due date
