Telethon

Through our "Lend a Hand Campaign", we are working to raise $500,000 during this year's telethon. Fundraising is more important than ever, as plans are being made to break ground on our new expansion. We realize this is a huge mountain to climb, but with your help we know we can achieve this goal.

Our call to action is asking businesses, individuals, groups or organizations to commit to raising a minimum of $1,000. Just think about it - that is only 500 - $1000 donations!! When you consider that we have provided therapy services to children in over 9 counties, that makes our goal very attainable.

By lending a hand, you will be playing a vital role in the future of the Kenny Rogers Children's Center. Thirty-seven years ago, the Center started treating just 5 children and has grown today to serve just under 400 children. The need for our services continues to grow. We are asking you to call the Center to commit to donating or raising a minimum of $1000.

There are endless ways to meet this goal and lend a hand for this very worthwhile project. You could do a "wear-jeans-to-work day", potluck dinner, coin drive, "pie-in-the-face contest", 10-10-10 challenge (10 friends each get 10 more friends to donate 10 dollars), etc, etc. Be creative and have fun. If you need help getting started, just pick up the phone and call the Center at 573-472-0397 x207 and we will be glad to help you out.

It is important for you to call to commit! When you make that call you will become an important part of our "Lend a Hand Campaign" and earn a spot in our Hall of Fame.
